What happens when some of Britain’s most beloved sitcom and comedy characters are invited to the same awards ceremony? Complete and utter chaos!
As an eclectic mix of television favourites gather to celebrate the nation’s greatest comedy achievements, personalities clash, misunderstandings multiply, and the event quickly spirals out of control.
From the snobbish Hyacinth Bucket and permanently irritated Victor Meldrew, to the outrageous Patsy and Eddie, Del Boy and Rodney, Ali G, Lauren Cooper, Kevin and Perry, and many more, every character brings their own unique brand of mayhem to the proceedings.
With mistaken identities, running gags, culture clashes, and plenty of classic catchphrases, British Comedy Awards is a fast-paced comedy revue that lovingly celebrates some of Britain’s most iconic sitcoms and sketch shows. Packed with nostalgia and laugh-out-loud moments, it is a fun-filled tribute to the characters that have kept audiences laughing for generations.
CHARACTERS – Originally written for 18 named roles. Flexible casting allows roles to be doubled, reduced, or adapted to suit your group, with a recommended cast size of 15 – 20 performers.
