FULL SYNOPSIS
‘A Very Villainous Therapy Session’ is a fast-paced comedic ensemble piece set in a chaotic group therapy session where some of the most infamous villains have been sent to confront their behaviour. What begins as a structured attempt at rehabilitation quickly spirals into disorder, as oversized egos, rivalries, and denial take over.
The therapists struggle to maintain control while the villains interrupt, argue, and mock the process. As each character reluctantly introduces themselves, they reveal the “reasons” they’ve been sent to therapy, ranging from arrogance and jealousy to theft and attempted murder. However, rather than showing remorse, most villains justify their actions, twist the truth, or proudly embrace their misdeeds.
Clashes erupt and ultimately, we see these characters are far more comfortable remaining exactly who they are, delighting in their wickedness.
CHARACTERS – Originally written for 21 named roles. Flexible casting allows roles to be doubled, reduced, or adapted to suit your group, with a recommended cast size of 18 – 24 performers.
